Tristan Thompson is hitting back at Mario Chalmers for saying that no one fears LeBron James on the court.

Chalmers told the Playmaker HQ podcast, “Nobody fears Bron. Nobody’s like, ‘Damn, I gotta go play against Bron tonight.’ Nobody said that. I don’t know why, because I seen people be scared when they actually line up to him, but they’re not scared thinking about that matchup.”

Tristan reacted to Chalmers’ comments while on the “Draymond Green Show,” where he stated, “That shit pissed me off, man. How can you say that about a guy you went to war with, who believed in you; and you’re going to come and say ‘No one fears LeBron?’ This is the best player you’ve ever been on the court with.”

Tristan added, “Guys be on some sucker shit. I don’t like that kind of stuff.”

The Jordan vs. LeBron debate is something that will possibly never cease to grip conversations about the NBA. In the latest instance, LeBron’s former teammate Mario Chalmers explained why he still considers Jordan to have a different type of edge over his competition that LeBron never had.

“Nobody fears Bron,” Chalmers shared on the Playmaker HQ podcast. “Nobody’s like, ‘Damn, I gotta go play against Bron tonight.’ Nobody said that. I don’t know why, because I seen people be scared when they actually line up to him, but they’re not scared thinking about that matchup.”

He continued, “You hear anybody from that era talk about going against Jordan, there’s a fear,” adding, “So when you have people that fear a player, then that tells you something different already. Like Jordan is just that guy. Like everything was, ‘I want to be like Mike.’”
